Heritage Precinct to open 7 days

March 26, 2016 By Murray Massey

Our most important news right now is that Cardwell’s Heritage Precinct, including our museum, will soon be open regular hours seven days per week.

This is part of a change by Cassowary Coast Regional Council to open a Visitor Information Centre on the precinct. No date has yet been announced, but the planned changes will greatly improve existing arrangements under which the Bush Telegraph Heritage Centre is open for 3 hours (10.00 am to 1.00 pm) Monday to Saturday, and the opening of our museum is dependant wholly on volunteers being available.
